Day 1 Depart Canada

Fly to Rome.

Day 2 Welcome to Rome

Upon arrival in Rome, take a private transfer to your hotel and check in. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 3 Rome: At Leisure

Enjoy the day at leisure and get to know the Eternal City! Walking is by far the best way to explore the city. But if you like, head out on optional excursions ($) to the magnificent Colosseum, the impressive Vatican Museums or the classic Borghese Gallery.

Day 4 Rome - Florence: Foodie Walking Tour (approx. 285 km)

After breakfast, make your way to the railway station to take the high-speed train to Florence. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel to check in. In the afternoon, meet up with your guide for a walking tour of the city.

Florence Foodie Walking Tour:

· Meet your guide for a walk through Florence's most fascinating places. Along the way, you'll get to taste some of the most typical street food of the Renaissance city and top it all off with an excellent glass of Chianti wine and hand made Gelato.

Day 5 Florence: At Leisure

Enjoy the day at leisure in Florence. The city's historical centre is compact, so it's perfect for exploring on foot! Or, if you like, take your pick of a number of optional excursions ($) to Cinque Terre, the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo's famous sculpture, or to the Tuscan countryside.

Day 6 Florence - Venice (Mestre) (approx. 270 km)

After breakfast, make your way to the train station and board your high-speed train to Venice. Upon arrival, make your way to your hotel to check in. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 7 Venice (Mestre): Murano and Burano Island excursion

After breakfast make your way to the meeting point for your half day excursion to discover the wonders of the islands of Murano and Burano.

Murano & Burano Islands Excursion:

· Start off in St. Mark's Square area where you’lll board a panoramic boat and head towards the northern part of the lagoon. Some explanations will be provided in English, Spanish, French, German and Italian along the way. The first stop will be Murano island, famous for its glass production. Here, you will have the chance to visit a glass factory and observe a local artist giving shape to a glass piece of art. Enjoy some free time to either continue visiting the glass factory and shop, or explore the island on foot. Then, cruise along the lagoon's beauty and proceed towards one of the most beautiful and peaceful islands of the lagoon: Burano. Famous for its colourful houses and, apart from being a paradise for photographers, it is home to a long tradition of lace production. Take advantage of some free time for your own discoveries before heading back to Venice.

Day 8 Venice - Rome (approx. 463 km)

After breakfast, make your way to the train station and take your high-speed train to Rome. Make your way to your hotel to check in, then enjoy the rest of the day exploring Bella Roma.
